London – July 10, 2018 Following the announcement by Allen & Overy that it has licensed Kira Systems’ contract analysis technology, ‘Kira’, Kira Systems has joined the Fuse 2 cohort to help drive adoption.
Allen & Overy has licensed Kira Systems' software, Kira, to assist in contract review in a number of practice areas. Kira Systems' software uses machine learning to automate the extraction and analysis of key provisions from both structured and unstructured contracts, accelerating and improving the accuracy of due diligence, general contract reviews, deal points studies, regulatory compliance, and more.

The Kira software aims to create more efficiency in their matter handling, so that lawyers can focus on the more complex legal work. Allen & Overy is embedding Kira in its Legal Service Centre in Belfast as well as in a number of its transactional practices to help expedite contract review work and the due diligence process.
