London, UK; Washington, DC, US – January 2019. Hogan Lovells expands the use of machine-learning contract analysis software, Kira, to enhance client service offerings.
Hogan Lovells has made Kira’s software available to its lawyers globally to provide another tool to support clients’ due diligence processes and to offer alternatives to traditional approaches to document review. Kira uses machine learning technology to, among other things, identify information in contracts to accelerate due diligence, general contract reviews, and regulatory compliance. By using Kira’s software, lawyers at Hogan Lovells will be able to engage with clients using sophisticated tools that support new approaches to client service.
“Making Kira available to all our lawyers is part of our continuing effort to use technology when appropriate to support clients by providing alternative approaches to the traditional due diligence and contract review process,” remarked Stephen Allen, the firm’s Global Head of Legal Operations.
“Hogan Lovells is a global leader in the legal industry,” said Tony Ensinger, Global Director of Sales, Legal Markets, at Kira Systems. “We are thrilled to be working alongside their talented team of attorneys as they provide innovative and exceptional services for their clients.”
